The 1960s offered a very elegant and graceful take on hairstyles for women and men alike. Today you will see that some of the major celebrities take a unique spin on some these incredibly elegant hairstyles for their award shows and more. You too can wear these gorgeous hairstyles for your special occasions whether it is your wedding, prom night or just a night you want to remember as special.
Many of the 1960s hairstyles were in transition from the big hair of the 1950s and headed towards the frizzy and out of control look of the hippie age. Before the onset of the hippie stage which occurs at the end of the 1960s the beehive was incredibly popular look for women. This was a simple and elegant hairstyle which keeps the hair out of the face with front and side sweeps as well as specific flips at the tip of the hair. Flips were incredibly popular and were used in collaboration with many different hairstyles as well as on their own. Whether you had shorter hair or long hair this great flipped look was always a sure thing.
In regards to male hairstyles of this era, the Beatles were becoming popular and therefore the men's hairstyles and lengths began to grow longer than the average crew cut of former years. The men had longer and straight hair styled much like the Beatles during this time and when the 1960s came closer to an end and the hippie age began their hair get even longer and more out of control!
It is amazing the pain these women and men went through during this time to create their hairstyles for the next day. There were no hand-held hairdryers so they had to sit under monster hairdryers for at least and hour and sleep with rollers in their hair the size of coke cans all night! Many women actually had to sleep sitting up in order to make sure their curlers set properly through the night, can you imagine?
The longer and straighter styles evolved for women near the end of the 1960s as women began to stand up against the different government movements and express their own views and preferences. The shaggy hairstyle was also first introduced in the 1960s and this same hairstyle is still seen quite often today, some styles never change.
Today you will find that many of these 1960s hairstyles are still popular and many times have taken a new and updated spin but the basic hairstyle is still there. The bob hairstyle is very popular for 2008 whether you want to wear it completely straight "sedu" or you want to create a wavy or more textured look, the bob is one look which has never gone out of style and creates a sexy and elegant look every woman can wear gracefully.
What is great about these hairstyles is that they are far easier to create today with the many hairstyle equipment and products to help not only create these looks but make them stay for the entire day. You no longer have to sleep sitting up or endure the pain of the huge rollers in your hair or use a regular clothes iron to straighten your hair every morning. Now you do not have to stick to one hairstyle for months at a time you can mix it up whenever you want thanks to these great products and hairstyling tools. One day you can create yourself a beehive look and the next day you can use the straight as a pin technique and then maybe the shag the next day! Be creative!

While just about every hairstyle are now going towards the innate look, there is still the coloring of the hair that has altered in the past few years. If your face is shaped rectangularly or oblong your finest bet would be short hairstyles. So you should really endure short hairstyles. Your blazing desire to opt for a quick alteration using your hair, a sexy and naughty-style wig or adding up hair extensions to create your fancy but trendy hairstyles. Certain hairstyles often lean to expressions of individual facial shapes better than others do. Square faces should wear short hairstyles or medium hairstyles and should stay away from straight stylings.
One consistency has been is that the hairstyles that were introduced by celebrities symbolized what was believed to be the ideal. The short hair style is just as fashionable for the coming months as hairstyles is for longer hair and what's more with a short hair style you can get your chosen style in half the time. Why would they pick hairstyles though?

Jim Rohn, a titan in the speaking business once said, "No matter what goals you set in life, there will always be some simple things you must identify - and do - along the way." For instance, if you want to lose weight, you'll have to cut back on saturated fats and sugar - drink lots of water - exercise - and add more fruits and vegetables to your diet. Do these things and, like magic, the pounds will begin to melt away. If you want to be a better spouse, you'll need to spend more quality time with your mate and family - help out around the house - and be more respectful of your spouse's time. If you accomplish each of these interim goals, you'll reach the larger one, too.
Your business is no different. Setting and reaching a few simple interim goals can lead you to the larger one - a recognizable business that soars above all others in your field. Here are a few simple tips that can make a huge difference.
First of all, remember the words spoken by the famous actor, Don Cheadle: "... mediocrity is what's rampant, but excellence is rare." Always produce a quality product. If you're sending emails, make sure your document is well written. If you're printing T-shirts or publications, use top-notch images or photography. Your attention to detail speaks volumes about you and your business. Quality always beats quantity - and your prices can reflect your demonstrated expertise and concern for your clients. Just ask Porsche or Rolls Royce.
Secondly, if you advertise in print, spring for a full page or cover so that you'll leave a large and lasting impression. Most business owners are satisfied with business cards or quarter-page ads. To achieve celebrity status for your business ... a full page is a must and repetition is the key.
The third tip that can help you become a business celebrity is to fall in love with taking risks and though you may be afraid to step out into the unknown, do it anyway. You'll separate your business from the rest of the pack when you take just one extra step. You don't have to run an entire extra mile. Trust me, you can soar above the crowd by doing a little bit more. Most people would rather remain comfortable with where they are, rather than move forward. So ... take a risk with one extra step and you'll get some attention. Always remember, succeeding in business is all about taking risks.
My fourth tip for you is to promote your business as an expert source. You know your strong points. Accentuate those attributes. Write them down. Keep them in front of you when you're talking on the telephone. What makes you an expert? Why do they need your product or service? Develop a catchy slogan or jingle and make sure you have a great logo and website design.
Tip number five: stick to your niche. It is better to dig one deep well than many shallow ones. If you're in the printing business, for example, set goals to increase your business progressively. You might start with your own printing press and progress to offering graphic design while planning to establish a full-service distribution company. As you add more services within your niche, your revenues will grow, allowing you to offer even more aligned services.
And finally, network, network, network. Promote your brand image as often as you can. Attend trade shows, health fairs and other events. Talk about what you do with as many people as possible. Increase your web presence. Pitch a TV or radio show. Write a book or an e-book to establish yourself as an author and an expert in your field. In other words, find a way to serve more people.
Stay on this "celebrity model" course to brand your business and the public will be more likely to remember your organization when they need your product or service. And increased revenue? That's a natural by-product of celebrity.
